Steve

Owner and Operations Director of Blow Salon

With almost 18 years and counting at Blow. Steve joined as a salon assistant, then fell into an apprenticeship here, which evolved into co-ownership. His path shows what’s possible when a salon is more than a workplace - it’s a place to build a career, a culture, and a standard.

An all-rounder behind the chair, Steve is known for refined, lived-in blondes and has a love for long hair  - polished, natural, precise. He pairs craft with natural forming relationships that make excellence repeatable: the brief is clarified in conversation, building long-term relationships, quality is created by combining all together, and each finish comes with guidance that feels tailored rather than templated. The first visit lays foundations; by the second and third, the look becomes fully personal as trust and detail compound.

As a leader, Steve focuses on building systems that make luxury, service and experience consistent. His passion in exploring new ways to nurture emerging and new staff through defined milestones; service rituals are calibrated across hair and beauty; and quality is cross-checked so clients experience the same standard every time, with any member of the team.

He also knows results are shaped by the environment. In a purpose-built salon, combining hair and beauty, the space is designed for the complete experience. With specialists in all fields of industry under one roof, the journey - from consultation to finish to aftercare - feels seamless, considered, and relevant. You feel it in the chair, you see it in the mirror, and it lasts between appointments.

Inspired by leading salons and stylists worldwide, Steve takes on board traditional learnings and identifies challenges in the industry and enjoys playing with solutions that translate smart ideas into practical improvements at Blow - with one aim: clients who feel known, cared for, impeccably finished and a team that feels valued, inspired and excited for the future.
